Secretary General Mari Sonoda on August 8, 2016 welcomed at her office of the PPC Minister-Counselor for Economic Affairs Nicholas Hill and Minister-Counselor for Commercial Affairs Andrew Wylegala, both of whom are attached to the United States Embassy in Tokyo, and they had an exchange of views.
Sonoda provided an explanation of the PPC’s latest activities, and shared with the two Minister-Counselors the PPC’s recognition that close dialogues and coordination should be maintained between Japan and the United States, and they agreed to advance greater cooperation in the near future.
