Commissioner Haruhi Kumazawa attended the 46th APPA Forum held in Mexico on 1 – 2 December, 2016.

The PPC has sent its delegates to this Forum, where Commissioner Kumazawa gave a presentation of the PPC’s affairs related to specific personal information and PPC’s global commitment on personal information protection.

This Forum was attended by 16 data protection authorities (DPAs) from 12 countries and regions, and they discussed issues related to each country’s regulation/supervision and enforcement of personal information protection, information sharing among enforcement authorities and anonymously processed information, and reported progress of approaches by ICDPPC and GPEN etc.
