Meeting with the Dutch DPA

Officials of the PPC visited the Dutch Data Protection Authority in the Hague, and had an exchange of views with Vice-Chairman Wilbert Tomesen on Feb 2, 2017.

The PPC officials provided an explanation of the PPC’s recent activities and the establishment of cabinet order, commission rules, etc. aimed at fully implementing the Amended Act on the Protection of Personal Information, while the Vice-Chairman covered a range of issues including domestic preparation toward implementing the General Data Protection Regulation. Both parties have agreed to continue exchanging information from now and forward, regarding the developments in their respective countries.
