Officials of the PPC visited the Information Commissioner’s Office of the UK in Manchester, and had an exchange of views with Information Commissioner Elizabeth Denham on Feb 3, 2017.
The PPC officials provided an explanation of the PPC’s recent activities and the establishment of cabinet order, commission rules, etc. aimed at fully implementing the Amended Act on the Protection of Personal Information, while the Information Commissioner covered a range of issues including the establishment of a new Department, International Strategy and Intelligence. Both parties have agreed to continue exchanging information.
